During the 1960s in Southern California various sayings were popular. "The most bodacious display of tourism this side of Anaheim" - Los Angeles Times newspaper, associated with surfers, who might admire a particularly "bodacious wave." However, a more audaciously rude or impertinent one was "Cash, Grass, Ass... Nobody rides for Free!" - it was associated more with the "hippies" that referred to how one gets by in life. It certainly relates today on how Americans are getting by under the Obamanomics Energy Policy in 2012 and into the forseeable future.
