Historically the collapse of pride within the hearts of its people starts as they forget who they are as a nation; then their country falls next.
Anyone remember the student protests in Whittier, California as they walked out of classes? The Mexican students hung their Mexican Flag above the upside down U.S. flag protesting the proposed federal immigration bill on March 27, 2006? California laws state that NO Flag will fly higher than the US Flag...and no one then could not see this kind of ban festering to come in 2015?...it was only a matter of time!
Now in 2015, a flag ban claimed by the U.C. Irvine faculty stated the U.S. flag was offensive as racist and creating xenophobia, hatred of foreigners and strangers. It may have failed, but some professors are still vocalizing their support for the ban and the students who attempted it. Professors around the country are voicing support for the attempted ban on the American flag at the University of California, Irvine--any liberal, socialist teachers here?
Now, does anybody wonder why our country's nationalistic spirit with pride in country is in putting our sovereignty in jeopardy?
