Chant: Only Four More Years

Thank God that we still have Term Limits on the books!

...or do we?

King for LifeWith the fact that Obama wants to LEGALIZE 30 million ILLEGAL ALIENS to secure their votes, has given GM and Chrysler to the UAW union to secure their votes, had ACORN counting in the 2010 census, and squeeked by a very close 2012 election victory, just by those real numbers for new potential voters, the Democrats stand to never lose another election AND will have a President for Life.

Democrat Representative Jose Serrano of New York wishes to allow unlimited terms for President Obama proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States to repeal the twenty-second article of amendment, thereby removing the limitation on the number of terms an individual may serve as President.

The presidential term limit was ratified as an amendment to the Constitution in 1951. However, our founding fathers adhered to the principle of a two-term limit on their own accord. The only president that served more than two terms was Democrat President Franklin Roosevelt, who served four non-consecutive terms.

The committee chair determines whether a resolution will move past the committee stage. Thankfully, it is in a Republican majority of the House of Representatives and this amendment will die in the committee.
