What is an Олег Александров? - See it Yourself

With the Holiday Season coming earlier every year, the day after Halloween has only seven weeks till Christmas so this seemed apropos to bring out.

Artist Bio:
Oleg Aleksandrov (Олег Александров) is a talented young singer. As of 2013 he turned nine years old and currently lives in Kiev, Ukraine. Oleg started to sing at the age of 4 when he astonished the audiences as he performed singing songs of artists like Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and The Beatles. While English is Oleg’s second language, his mastery of the pronunciation of words, nuances and phrases for such a young singer has proved invaluable in delivering the English song lyrics to listeners. This then allows Oleg time to form his personal brand of timing and delivery of his own singing style that makes it very enjoyable. So any listener could hardly know that by watching and listening to this young entertainer to effortlessly sing he worked so hard to vocalize his songs--it's all said in one word, "Bravo!"

Oleg's rendition of "It's a Wonderful World" has made this 1967 Louis Armstrong signature song resonate again.

This is incredible, one of the most memorable renditions of Bing Crosby's 1941 "White Christmas"  I've ever heard!  Did I detect a few lines of Ukranian lyrics in there, as well, or was it a different Slavic language? LOL!

Jack Webb, the star & producer, was a stickler for accurate details, and Dragnet used authentic touches, such as the LAPD's actual radio calls while Webb told, "We try to make it as real as a guy pouring a cup of coffee.”

The Dragnet video is not very long and truly gets the point across. You'll have to be, however, over 50 to really appreciate it, unless you watched the Dan Ackroyd & Tom Hanks Dragnet movie spoof (1987) reruns. Anyone younger has probably never seen the "Dragnet" TV shows, (1951-1970) or will catch the true 'cult-nature' meaning here of the gruff, fast talking, short sentence deliveries which were 'classics' by Jack Webb who embellished it to the fullest as Sgt. Joe Friday, he died in 1982. Harry Morgan was Officer Bill Gannon on Dragnet (1967–1970), he passed away in 2012.

As everybody sees Obamacare unfolding, you are watching before your eyes the best When Obamacare "Shits hits the Fan!"double-talk, flim-man man ever to sit in office at any level of government.  He is rewriting, back-stepping, contravening, wavering, pulling back and ducking for cover as his programs to further move the American economy into socialism are working.  It is just a matter of continuing forward as long as no one is willing to stop his programs. If you criticize him, he always brings out the race card because he's black.  So, you have to remember he is only half right because his mother is white.  I guess that begs the question:  Where do you draw the line? Therefore, I will call the lower half white a dumb-ass to avoid being called a racist and refrain from making any disparaging remarks above the belt.

Whew! ...Now that I have had my say, please read the text of what a real gentleman and diplomat said as he addressed the President directly on national television.

 

"Mr. President, Fox News isn't what's making Americans sick about your healthcare law.  Your healthcare law is.  

Welcome, everybody, I'm Neil Cavuto.  And excuse this departure from form.  But I think this is just poor form.  So, it's time we set some things straight.

"Mr. President, we at Fox News are not the problem.  I hate to break it to you, sir.  You are.  Your words are.  Your very promises are.  We didn't sell this healthcare law.  Sir, you did.  Remember this?"

President Barack Obama:  "If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor.  Period!"

"Mr. President, tell that to tens of thousands of retirees at IBM and Time Warner and dozens of others, who've been dumped from their coverage and told to find their own coverage.  Fox News didn't break that news to them, Mr. President.  Their companies did.

"Fox News didn't push more of those firms to hire part-time workers.  Your healthcare law did.  Fox News didn't incentivize fast food restaurants to scale back their benefits.  Your healthcare law did.  Fox News didn't make doctors want to opt out.  Your healthcare law did.  Fox News didn't make insurance premiums sky rocket.  Your healthcare law did.  Just like Fox News didn't grant hundreds of exemptions to companies that needed them.  You did.  And Fox News didn't delay one key provision after another, including online enrollment for those small business exchanges.  You did.

"Just like it wasn't Fox News that said we had to pass this to see what was in this.  You did.  Or was that Nancy Pelosi?  Sometimes I'm confused.  But of this I am not.  Fox News didn't re-do basic math.  Sir, you did.  Fox News didn't say you can cover 30 million more Americans and not see a hit in premiums.  You did.  Fox News didn't say you could throw in those with pre-existing conditions and not have to pay for it.  You did.  Fox News didn't all but say you could get something for nothing.  You did.  Fox News didn't come back years later and say, oh yea, we did raise some taxes.  You did.

"Here's where you are right about Fox News, however, Mr. President.  We can do math.  And did.  You cannot.  And did not.  We said it, and proved it.  You didn't.  And we're all suffering for it.  Take it from the numbers guy at Fox.  Numbers don't lie.  The number of Americans working part-time are nervous.  The number of retirees days away from being dumped on exchanges are anxious.  The number of company bosses with any news to pass along on those exchanges, but still clueless.  The number of doctors who want out.  The number of congressmen now opting out.  No, Mr. President, none of those numbers lie.

"But with all due respect sir, I can only conclude you do know; I know, I know you hate us at Fox.  But please take a look in a mirror, and fast.  You think we're the skunk at your picnic.  But that doesn't mean we're the ones that stink.  Because that smell isn't coming from the folks reporting on your law.  Mr. President, that smell is your law."

Obama Dares Not Refute Ted Cruz Credentials

The liberal politicians in Washington D.C. along with the liberal media attempt to depict The Honorable Ted Cruz, U.S. Senator of Texas as some kind of a right wing-nut 'Wacko Bird' job.

It is fully understood that liberal politicians don't like what Senator Ted Cruz represents, supports or knows because:

• He worked in the Florida 2000 Election lawsuit for Geo. W. Bush.

• He is a Christian against 'same-sex marriage', not against 'civil unions'.
  

• His wife worked for Condoleeza Rice in the Bush White House.

• He was an investment banker in New York. 

• He was a Republican Senator who won 40% of the Hispanic votes.
  

Obama has repeatedly expressed no liking for Senator Ted Cruz, quite surprisingly many think not because he is Republican. You be the judge:

Ted Cruz is academically superior.

• Ted Cruz graduated cum laude from Princeton. Not the case for Obama.
  

• Ted Cruz graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School.  Not the case for Obama. 

• Ted Cruz is one of the most brilliant legal minds that he has ever seen. "Cruz was off-the-charts brilliant," so stated Allan Dershowitz (who by all accounts is a bigger liberal than Obama) who said that about Ted Cruz's mental prowess. Not the case for Obama.

• Ted Cruz clerked for the Chief Justice of the U. S. Supreme Court, Justice William Renquist, one of the most coveted positions for any young lawyer right out of law school.  Not the case for Obama.

What exactly has Obama done in the legal profession?  Obama was not a 'constitutional law professor,' but was a 'guest lecturer,' an enormous difference at the University of Chicago as many of his supporters dishonestly tout.

Teaches Saul Alinsky Rules for Radicals on blackboard.The best evidence indicates that the school was ordered to find Mr. Obama office space and to give him a class to teach. In academia, 'professor' is the highest academic rank, normally awarded only to tenured teachers after many years of experience and many successful publications. Mr. Obama has none of these qualifications, and never went through the necessary process of being awarded professor rank.

Despite earning academic credentials in the law, there is no evidence that Obama  worked for anyBarack signs up people on street. appreciable period of time as a practicing attorney. He may be reasonably called a lawyer by virtue of having a law degree, but he apparently never kept offices, met a payroll, hung out a shingle, or even worked as a regularly salaried attorney for government. Instead, most of his post-Harvard days were occupied with his 'work,' as a community organizer where he registered voters, signed up users for food stamps or onto welfare or housing programs.

The Honorable Ted Cruz is a Texas Senator. His Dad, Rafael, may have just established himself as one more reason for Obama to dislike Texas.

The Cuban-born father of Texas Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at length about his life in Cuba, his experiences with socialism and authoritarianism, and the false promises of dictators. Rafael Cruz told the crowd of supporters, “as a teenager I found myself involved in a revolution. I remember during that time, a young charismatic leader rose up talking about ‘hope and change.’” As the crowd laughed, Rafael Cruz threw them a curve ball: “His name was Fidel Castro.”
