My Movie Review:

Obama's America 2016

A new release by Dinesh D'Souza, this well researched and fact-filled documentary certainly opens the dialogue on both sides on who has been elected to the highest office in the land: A Love/Hate relationship that is so volatile that the 2012 Election is a major inflection point in the direction of our country going forward.

I urge anyone who wishes to really learn the facts as laid out by Obama himself, in his own words and in his own voice. Just listen as he explains why and how he will change the United States from the major aggressive nation of suppressive colonialists and plunderers of the world's wealth to satisfy our greedy thirst and personal consumption at the expense of other countries.  

Fact: Obama explains his class-war rationale as the one percent verses the ninety-nine percent, the rich capitalists against the middle class folks. Truth: As the documentary unfolds, Obama trully reveals that ratio more clearly, it is not what most Americans understand but what third worlders already know.  The middle class in the United States are actually living in the top one percent and the rest of the world is in the ninety-nine percent.  Conclusion: Obama is setting up all of the middle class in the U.S. to foot the tax bill to support the rest of the world by distributing our wealth to other nations around the world through a global economy of trade treaties. They are being worked on as you read this blog.

Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Treaty - A Trojan Horse

 Before everyone's eyes all glaze over in a comatose state, you should realize that this Treaty is what our Federal government wants us to ignore...  Do not pay any attention to the guy behind the curtain... and it's not the Wizard of Oz!

Treaty Terms & Conditions

• Fixes prices with Drug Mfgs in Federal National Healthcare Programs - Big Pharma deals.

• Limits Internet freedom by government controls under the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA).

• Limits how U.S. federal and state officials could regulate foreign firms operating within U.S. boundaries, with requirements to provide them greater rights than domestic firms;

• Extends the incentives for U.S. firms to offshore investment and jobs to lower-wage countries;

• Establishs a two-track legal system that gives foreign firms new rights to skirt U.S. courts and laws, directly sue the U.S. government before foreign tribunals and demand compensation for financial, health, environmental, land use and other laws they claim undermine their TPP privileges; and

• Allows foreign firms to demand compensation for the costs of complying with U.S. financial or environmental regulations that apply equally to domestic and foreign firms.

How could an International Treaty this  extremely dangerous and restrictive to destroy our sovereign laws of the United States have gotten so far? The process has been shockingly secretive. In 2010 TPP countries agreed not to release negotiating texts until four years after a deal was done or  abandoned.

This means that although the TPP could rewrite vast swaths of domestic policy affecting every aspect of our lives - the public, press and Congress are locked out.

Astoundingly, Senator Ron Wyden, chair of the Senate committee with official jurisdiction over TPP, has been denied access even to US proposals to the negotiations. But 600 corporate representatives serving as official US trade advisers have full access to TPP texts and a special role in negotiations. Why? So they can do behind-the-back-door, under-handed, special interest, good-old-boy, sweet-heart, shady deals?

When challenged about the conflict with the Obama administration’s touted commitment to transparency, Trade Representative Kirk noted that after the release of the Free Trade Area of the Americas (FTAA) text in 2001, that deal could not be completed. In other words, the official in charge of the TPP says the only way to complete the deal is to keep it secret from the people, the U.S. citizens, who would have to live with the results.

As Nancy Pelosi said: "We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It" - Is that still good advice?... Oops, wrong! That's talking about another Bill that already passed!

Debbie does Dallas as She Screws with the Truth

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Baffles Anderson Cooper

Call it denial - complete denial as Debbie Wasserman Shultz was grilled by CNN Reporter Anderson Cooper.  It is certainly refreshing to watch her squirm as she gets a smarmy know--it-all grin as if to say, "I can say any lie I want and no reporter will question me in this liberal news reporting cycle of today."  In just the first minute of the interview Debbie realizes she is in trouble - just look at the shock on her face and nervous angry stares in her eyes while being caught quite off guard by her inquisiter, another liberal.  Oh, for shame Debbie!

Regardless of whether or not you agree with Anderson Cooper’s politics, the guy is arguably one of the last real journalists left in the mainstream media. During his CNN show on Thursday, August 23, 2012 the host proved that during his “Keeping Them Honest” segment where he ripped into Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) for “misquoting” a Los Angeles Times article in a fundraising email, in which she attempted to tie GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s abortion stance to Rep. Todd Akin’s. Akin came under fire this week from all sides for arguing that women’s bodies can prevent pregnancies in cases of “legitimate rape.”

Cooper was persistent in trying to coax an apology out of Schultz, but she remained defiant throughout the entire segment.

The email in question argued that the GOP “just voted to embrace Akin’s position by including a constitutional ban on all abortions — even in cases of rape or incest — in their 2012 platform.”

Schultz also criticizes Romney and his running mate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) in the email for “saying they don’t entirely agree with that plank.” Cooper then addressed the LA Times quote that Schultz used to make her point, which he says she “misquoted.” From the email:

“…but guess what? The Los Angeles Times reported yesterday that the platform was, and I quote, ‘written at the direction of Romney’s campaign.’”

Those exact words did actually appear in the LA Times, Cooper explained, but Schultz took them “completely out of context.”
