Obamacare Traiin Wreck is coming in 2014

ObamaCare has become a rolling "train wreck," in Senator Max Baucus's memorable phrase, and it gets worse the more of it the public sees. Mark Mazur, the deputy assistant Treasury secretary for tax policy, published a July 2 blog post that Obama cancelled  Obamacare reporting rules and tax enforcement for businesses only until 2015.

Obama had once told the NY Obama Times that Valerie “Rasputin” Jarrett can: “speak for me, particularly when we’re dealing with delicate issues.” So, White House fixer Valerie Jarrett tried to contain the fallout with her separate blog post promising that ObamaCare is otherwise "staying the course." That's true only if she's referring to the carelessness and improvisation that have defined the law so far.

The Obama Administration's media cheerleaders are nonetheless portraying this as a stroke of political genius to push all the pain past the 2014 elections. But if that's the goal, it is too clever by half. If Republicans have any sense, they will move immediately to delay the rest of the bill for at least a year too. They should start with the individual mandate to buy insurance or pay a tax.

 Obamacare 2014:  Individuals Pay - Businesses Exempt

• Individuals are only supposed to be eligible for ObamaCare's subsidies if their employer doesn't offer the right benefits - But how will the Treasury know who qualifies in 2014 if they lack the information that businesses are supposed to provide?
  

• Citizens must also pay the individual mandate-tax if they decline coverage from their employer - How will the Treasury verify these offers?

All these issues brings us to the dubious legality of this delay. The Affordable Care Act's Section 1513 states in black-letter law that "(d) Effective Date.—The amendments made by this section shall apply to months beginning after December 31, 2013." It does not say the Administration can impose the mandate whenever it feels it is politically convenient."

A Cracked View Clearly

Have you ever turned the telescope around and spied at yourself from that perspective?  It is refreshing to take a break from the American lens to focus on viewing ourselves through another optic.  I received this recent article published by RT.com website, Russian Television, which is provides an alternative perspective on major global events, and acquaints the international audience with the Russian viewpoint.

It was just the first of this month that Russian President Vladimir Putin in a meeting with President Obama delivered scathing remarks about the Obama administration supplying arms to the rebels opposing Syrian President Bashir Assad.  Putin ridiculed and admonished Obama for holding a blind eye to those same rebels cutting the organs, hearts and livers, out of their enemies and eating them. It is with a jaundiced, journalistic eye that one can appreciate the following news story reporting a similar view with Putin on the Obama administration's decision to supply rebel firearms and munitions.  The Member of Parliament in Ireland takes the argument further by pointing to  "undermining secularism" in the region as a whole since this group is "radical Muslim" in a jihad to destroy the Big Satan America too.  

Obama Scandals Bringing Down Obamacare ProgramSo, what is Obama thinking anyway, that his constant "campaign rhetoric" stump speeches will solve all world problems? Seems like Fast & Furious, Benghazi, AP, NSA, IRS and FBI scandals are a pretty full plate with zero answers, arrests, convictions, fines or jail time for anyone. 

Obama is now focusing on helping Syria, Iran's ally, that totally hates us while risking entry into another unpopular war - Obama is desperate to take U.S. public attention off all of his scandals and so this Ireland visit has no play in mainstream U.S. news outlets which effectively buries any of Obama's critics on his diplomatic weaknesses and shortcomings in foreign security and global affairs.

The MP slammed the Irish media coverage treatment of the visit of Obama as akin to "a nation of pimps, prostituting ourselves in return for a pat on the head" during his G8 visit held in the five-star resort of Lough Erne, Northern Ireland.  

“It’s hard to know which is worse, whether it’s theFirst Lady Michelle Obama (C) her daughter Sasha (L) & Malia (R) during a visit to the Wicklow Mountains National Park. outpourings of the Obamas themselves, or the sycophantic fawning over them by sections of the media and the political establishment,” said Daly, saying that, "The Irish nation had been subjected to “unprecedented slobbering” over the presidential family." (Sure sounds like the news media  in the U.S. to me too.)

Rounding on the president, she condemned his speech to children in Northern Ireland about the peace process as the “biggest irony of all.” Citing Obama’s decision to supply the Syrian opposition with arms, she asked: “Is this person going for the hypocrite of the century award?”

“By any serious examination this man is a war criminal,” said Daly, accusing the Obama administration of purposely stalling the Geneva talks by increasing their backing for the Syrian opposition and undermining secularism in the region as a whole.

She called on the Irish government to take steps to “ensure no weapons go through Shannon [Airport] to Syria in breach of the international laws”.

Fox News reported that "President Barack Obama met with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Vice President Joe Biden at the White House on Sept. 11, 2012 at 5:00 PM—just 55 minutes after the State Department notified the White House and the Pentagon that the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi was under attack.

The meeting between Obama, Panetta and Biden had been scheduled before the attack took place, and the Department of Defense is not commenting now on whether the three men were aware when they met that day of the ongoing attack or whether Obama used that meeting to discuss with his defense secretary what should be done to defend the U.S. personnel who at that very moment were fighting for their lives in Benghazi."

Conservatives think they are the only ones that hear about the reprehensible evils behind the Benghazi attack like a “dog whistle”, though barely audible to the public at large. But they’re wrong, which is scarcely surprising since they’re wrong about everything or so says many in the main stream media who remain silent. When do the people, "the folks", finally wake up and see that Obama Administration Foreign Policies treat terrorist acts like a domestic police investigation while not leveling with the American people?

On September 26, White House spokesman, Jay Carney said to ABC News, "That information based on what we Newsweek Magazine July 30, 1973 - Watergate Issueknow — not based on speculation, but based on what we know — acknowledging that we are continuing an investigation that will undoubtedly uncover more facts." 

The only problem is that Carney did not mention they did not start investigating until days afterwards because of the danger to F.B.I. personnel, although the Obama Administration needn't be concerned about any Ambassador's safety. 

The F.B.I. netted only one suspect in custody due to a surveillance video since the crime scene was completely trashed leaving forensic evidence contaminated. Can this defendent or others get a fair criminal trial with no admissable evidence?  Hmnn...

Libya featured in newspaper The suspect still has not been interrogated due to Obama signing his Executive Order to close Guantanamo Bay over two years ago. The order directed the base closure and left wide open where any terrorist would be housed and how any new detainees would be questioned or even incarcerated. What an administrative mess. And still, the public doesn't even know about this debacle that Obama, himself, created judicial chaos to nullify any justice in future cases. And Obama is an attorney? Yet, the Obama administration continues its cover-up charade and public spectacle of inactive actions to uncover more facts. The White House narrative of "Osama Bin Laden is dead and al Queda is on their heels" has proven devastating to his reelection campaign.

The mainstream media is silent about the Benghazi attack giving Obama a pass on Benghanzi for now because it will be disastrous for the Obama Campaign.
